Design Review

As some may have seen (or are coming) from our post on SitePoint Forums, we are asking you for your feedback on netParticles!

So, please open up and post your uncensored thoughts! But if you are speechless, here are a few questions we have categorized by website dimensions.

Do not limit yourself to these questions, they are only ideas to get you started. Also, be sure to visit several types of pages such as the front page, the archives, the about page and the sitemap.

  • Yourself
    • What kind of web user are you? (designer? developer? power user? etc.)
    • What are your first impressions? Why?
    • Would you return to this website? Why?
  • Design
    • Are you able to navigate this site?
    • Does the design look unique?
    • Is it displaying correctly in your browser?
  • Performance
    • Did the site seem to take too long to load?
  • Content
    • Does this site seem relevant to you? Why?
    • Does this site seem useful? Why?
    • What is the goal of netParticles?
    • Does the front page make you want to click in further?

You could also tell us what you would like to see. This gives me an idea for an upcoming blog post, "how to review a website", return on Monday for an update!
